TikTok Events API on WordPress and WooCommerce
Send conversions to the TikTok Events API from WordPress, for shops and lead-gen sites – de-duplicated with the TikTok Pixel, sent with consent.
On this page
The TikTok Events API sends conversions from your server to TikTok, alongside the TikTok Pixel. Server events still arrive when the pixel is blocked, and they help TikTok match conversions to the ads that drove them.
Omea Consent Pro sets it up for any WordPress site – shops and lead-generation sites alike – and only sends with the visitor’s consent.
Set it up
- Switch on the TikTok Pixel Under Omea Consent › Integrations, switch on TikTok Pixel and paste the Pixel ID (it starts with
C). - Generate an access token In TikTok Events Manager go to your pixel › Settings › Events API › Generate access token and copy it.
- Turn on the Events API In the TikTok Pixel card, switch on Events API, paste the Access token and click Save changes.
- Map your conversions Under Omea Consent › Conversions, choose a TikTok standard event for each conversion – SubmitForm, CompletePayment, CompleteRegistration, Contact and so on.
- Test it Optionally paste a Test event code from TikTok Events Manager, trigger a conversion and check it arrives. Clear the code afterwards – test events aren’t counted.
What Omea sends to TikTok
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Conversions | Each conversion mapped to a TikTok event, from the browser and the server |
| Server-side events | WooCommerce purchases, checkouts and add-to-carts, sign-ups |
| Event ID | The same as the pixel’s event_id, so TikTok counts each once |
| Customer data | Email, phone (in international E.164 format) and external ID – SHA-256 hashed |
| Click and browser data | The ttclid click ID, the _ttp cookie, IP address and user agent |
Consent
The Events API sends only with Marketing consent, checked on your server. If you use the pixel’s own consent mode, the server side still waits for Marketing consent.
Check it
The TikTok card’s Latest server events list shows each recent event as Sent or Error. While a test event code is set, the card shows Test mode – not counted. Missing events? See Conversions API events missing.
